Fight Gossip
Unfairness and how to fight it:
This site is being written in the hopes of helping to slow the "human nature" thing of gossiping or to at least help people understand what happens and how to fight against it or work towards a healing from the effects of it. Hopefully with the help and resource sections and with the forum where we can all share the good, the bad and the ugly...hopefully there can be some good outcomes.
Number one: Don't pass on talk about others unless you have at least made the effort to go to the source. Make certain of the facts.
Number two: If told something about another try to take it as fiction then if bothered by it go to the source. Ask questions. If the story was wrong, bent or slanderous the victim would appreciate knowing early in "the game".
Gossip is hideous. It can really mess up your life.
What happens to words you speak:
Think about that game where a line of people at a party have one person at the beginning of the line whisper a sentence and this gets whispered on down the line then...the last person says what he heard out loud. It is almost always totally wrong and riduculous. This is quite often what happens when people do the "have you heard?" thing.
